Thanksgiving

We had a very low key Thanksgiving Day. We always do Thanksgiving with the Benson side on the day after Thanksgiving so as not to conflict with Thanksgiving schedules with in-laws. I'm pretty much the only in-law that doesn't have family living here (well, we have Jordan and Kaitlyn, but they were in Wisconsin). So, Josh and I were left to our own devices. We didn't want to make a ton of food since there was only two of us, so we kept it simple.

Rotisserie chicken in lieu of turkey.

Green bean casserole and mashed potatoes and gravy.

That about sums it up. The Benson event the next day was MUCH more delicious.

A week or so after Thanksgiving, we put our Christmas tree up.

I love our little brown and gold tree! And it looks so nice in this apartment! (Everything probably seems nicer when you don't have the smell of the neighbor's pot lingering in the air...so glad we moved!)

  1. That is so sad that you had to do Thanksgiving day all by yourself...but it looks good! i was just thinking how nice it is that you guys don't have to try to sell a contract or anything when you move...
