Jordan and Kaitlyn's Rehearsal Dinner

The night before Jordan and Kaitlyn's wedding, we had an amazing rehearsal dinner that my mom planned at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The room overlooked the Salt Lake Temple and all the lights on Temple Square. The food was pretty much amazing! Chicken Wellington, steak, amazing salad dressing...I wish I could eat there weekly! During the dinner, we got to know the Wing family, told stories about Jordan and Kaitlyn, and watched a slideshow of all their childhood pictures (and a short clip from Jordan's high school basketball glory days).

I have to give Lindsey all the credit for the pictures...Josh and I hadn't opened our new camera yet, but Lindsey and Nick had, so they took some great pictures with their high-quality fancy pants camera.

The beautiful table spread:

The Bells in the lobby:

My brother, Riley, had come home from his mission a little bit before the wedding. He had been playing in the church Turkey Bowl and ended up getting a concussion and fracturing his spine. He lost his memory for a little while (which was a scary time, believe me), but it came back within a few days. He also had trouble walking, however, and that recovery was taking a little longer. So his mission president sent him home to recuperate. It was sad circumstances, but we loved having him there for all the wedding celebrations. And Makenzie enjoyed taking rides with him down the ramp in his wheelchair.
Here is Mom showing off the beautiful final product:
Dad and Hunter (it kind of terrifies me how big Hunter and Halston are getting...they were so little when I left home for college!):
Future Mr. and Mrs. Brown:

Lindsey giving her AMAZING speech (it really was good, Lindsey! It was just a tough room...):
The night ended with the vocal stylings of Makenzie. The biggest hit was probably her rendition of "Follow the Prophet." She's so cute, it's ridiculous.
