In May, Lindsey, Makenzie, and Tanner came to visit and we had a great time! I have about a million pictures that say more about the visit than I ever could, so I'm going to take a few posts to do a photo gallery.

Defying Gravity

Years ago, I was introduced to the music of Wicked by Lindsey. As someone who grew up Wizard of Oz obsessed (and I do mean obsessed) and as a musical movie junkie, I fell in love with the plot and music of Wicked right away. I really wanted to see it, but New York was hundreds of miles away and my bank account was hundreds of dollars too short. So on the bucket list it went. And I waited. And waited. Eventually, Mom found out that Wicked was coming to Charleston and surprised me with tickets! I was excited beyond belief.

The show was everything I hoped it would be!

Brookgreen Gardens

We went to Brookgreen Gardens last week. BrookGreen used to be a plantation but is now a beautiful, perfectly landscaped garden with a ton of statues.

Being there, we probably looked cultured and artsy. Or we would have if this hadn't happened in the first 10 minutes.
